Display
Google Pixel Watch features a 1.2-inch circular always-on AMOLED display. It boasts a density of 450 x 450 pixels (~320 ppi density) and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9110 chipset (10 nm), the Pixel Watch features a dual-core 1.15 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a Mali-T720 GPU. This combination ensures smooth performance. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The generous storage capacity allows you to store music offline for your workouts.
Connectivity and Communication Support
The Google Pixel Watch offers two connectivity configurations:
- Wi-Fi Only:Â If you have the Wi-Fi-only version, your watch relies on Wi-Fi networks with its Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n configuration for fast, safe connectivity and communication.
- 4G LTE:Â The LTE model provides phone-free convenience. It supports 4G LTE connectivity (eSIM, allowing you to make calls, send texts, and access data directly from the watch. Google Fi subscribers can set up LTE without additional line fees on most plans.
Battery and Power Management
Pixel Watch boasts a Li-Ion 294 mAh, non-removable battery, recharged with Wireless (Qi) technology. The watch is officially rated for up to 24 hours of usage. To save battery life, Google employs several software features:
- Always-On Display: With the feature turned on, a fully charged Pixel Watch battery lasts up to 24 hours. However, you can extend this by turning off the Always-On Display.
- Charging Pause: To protect and extend battery life, the Pixel Watch will pause charging if it stays plugged into its charger for 4 days or longer.
- Battery Saver Mode: Instead of disabling the Always-On Display and Tilt-to-Wake, you can use Battery Saver Mode.
